2008-07-04 - Confidentiality Agreement
All Users data held on DIDIDave.com from Usernames, Passwords, Email address and any IP's held on the database or transmited via the peerlist are deemed confidential information and for the sole use of DIDIDave.com.
The Use of this information for anything other then use on site will be deemed to be a disclosure of confidential information.
In using this information other then on site you have broken the DIDIDave.com Confidentiality Agreement and may allow damages claims in the event of wrongful use or disclosure of confidential information other then that as specified by the DIDIDave.com site.
If any information gained from DIDIDave.com is used in what DIDIDave.com or it's user base deem as breaking this Agreement and/or a user suffers as a result in the use of this confidential information the said user will be given the user datails as to who has leaked there confidential information so as to make a claim against them. If a 3rd party keeps a list of all IP's they gain via there visit to a website without permission he breachs clause of confidentiality and makes an infringement.
Confidential Information shall mean all information identified by a party (Disclosing Party) to the other party (Receiving Party) which if in writing labelled as confidential.
Confidential Information shall remain the sole property of the Disclosing Party. Except for the specific rights granted by this agreement the Receiving Party shall not use any Confidential Information of Disclosing Party for its own account.
Receiving Party shall use reasonable care to protect Disclosing Party's Confidential Information.
Receiving Party shall not disclose Confidential Information to any third party without the written consent of Disclosing Party (except to consultants who are bound by a written agreement with Receiving Party to maintain confidentiality).
Confidential Information shall exclude information
(i) available to the public other than by a breach of this Agreement
(ii) rightfully received from a third party not in breach of an obligation of confidentiality.
If you wish to use any Confidential User Information from the DIDIDave.com website you must first inform a member of DIDIDave.com staff of your intend actions and the intended use of this information.
IP Tagging
The IP's of users of DDT are considered Private and anyone found to be Tagging Users IP's via the swarms peerlist will be banned from the site when found.
Data protection Act:
If you wish to use IP addresses to identify or build a profile of a user or individual, you should assume that the Data Protection Act applies. Only a court can decide for certain whether or not this is a processing of personal data to which the Act applies. The safest course is to assume that the Act does apply in these circumstances and therefore you should make users and staff aware of your intentions to use IP addresses to gain further information on the sites userbase ,based on there IP used here and also gain consent before processing an IP address tagged from the DDT Peer list for these purposes.

If you fail to inform the Users / Staff of your actions to mine the DDT site for Users IP's Then further action can and will be taken to protect this data.

DDT is one of the longest running trackers on the net and we aim to proivde a freindly and safe site for all that visit.
To aid in this many FREE EMAIL providers are banned from being used here on signup and if used you will not be able to signup.
Before you signup are are forced to have to goto the DDT Rules page and confirm you agree and have read the rules.
If you later post a comment against these rules or go onto to break a site rule and in your defence you say you did not know staff wont be happy as you have been asked to read them before signing up.
DDT operate a Anti lurking script which means all users need to make at least one download of any size over a limit set by staff each and every month to keep there account active here.Users found not active are deleted with 7 days warning before such actions are taken.
Users joining here are requested that if they are joining to lurk here or to cause trouble for it's users please think other wise and move on.
Users joining here to DATAMINE the userbase for IP information on DDT torrents are not welcome and are requested not to join the site as such actions are underhand and is breaking our own sites rules.
Such accounts created by these sort of users will be found and closed with no warning and IP and email information added to the sites own Ban lists and also provided to other sites staff teams.
All signups are monitored in real time by the DDT staff team and any strange email accounts used are and will be checked and if traced to any free provider's or any other provider we deem to be a risk to the site or it's users will be banned so it can no longer be used by other users.
